Haute Savoie / Les Gets World Cup 2025

Morzine, Les Gets and Haute Savoie Region  are set to host the epic 10 day World Cup Festival in 21st - 31st August 2025. Hold onto your hats, because one of the most iconic stops on the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup circuit is returning to the Haute-Savoie region for 2025. From August 21st to 31st, the eyes of the mountain biking world will be locked onto the Haute-Savoie region  as the world’s best downhill riders take on its legendary trails. The Worlds best racers riding the iconic trails of the Haute-Savoie Region, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Whilst the location of specific events are not yet 100% confirmed, it is hard to imagine that the Downhill World Cup for 2025 will not be held at the Legendary Les Gets after so many years of iconic racing.

What makes the Les Gets World Cup 2025 stand out is? It’s the perfect mix of insane riding and an unbeatable atmosphere. The track itself is a rider’s favourite—a gnarly blend of natural root sections and meticulously crafted jumps that provide plenty of airtime for those brave enough to send it. Spectators get front-row seats to all the action, whether it’s from the side of the track or one of the big-screen viewing areas dotted around the mountain and plenty of oppourtunities to meet their favourite riders. But it’s not just about the racing. The entire town of Les Gets transforms into a mountain biking mecca during World Cup week. Think buzzing après-ride vibes, pop-up bike shops, athlete meet-and-greets, and a festival atmosphere that runs from dawn ‘til dusk. Whether you’re a hardcore fan of the sport or just love a good party in the mountains, the Les Gets World Cup is the place to be.

Champery Downhill World Championships 2025
2nd - 7th September 2025

One of our Portes du Soleil neighbours Champery will be hosting the downhill World Championships from 2nd - 7th September 2025. Champery is easy to access via the vast lift network of the Portes du Soleil from Morzine and provides a prime opportunity to view the Worlds best racers tackle one the gnarliest downhill tracks in the World. Champery is well known for being insanely steep and has produced some absolutely iconic races in the past, from Danny Harts Viral winning run in 2011 and when Sam Hill showed the World what was possible in the wet during his legendary 2007 run.

Easy to access from Morzine and bound offer one hell of a show for spectators, Champery World Champs 2025 is a must do for any biking enthusiast!

Passportes du Soleil 2025
 27- 29th June 2024

‍The Passportes du Soleil 2024 is a major MTB race/gathering that takes place on 27th - 29th June 2025 and marks the official lift opening of the full Portes du Soleil area for the 2025 season, with over 200 mountain bike industry stands offering demo bikes, samples and product displays. Les Passportes Du Soleil 2025 takes you on a tour of the full Portes Du Soleil summer MTB area, showcasing over  80KM+ of lift assisted Enduro trails, over 15 lifts & riding between France & Switzerland.

Les Passportes du Soleil 2025 is non-competitive and more of a rally than a race. Designed to showcase the best trails in the area, at your own pace and providing local food and beverages along the way! A great way to experience the vast ness of the Portes du Soleil area and you don't need to be a Elite level Enduro racer to take part, with hundreds of amateur riders taking part in groups of friends each year. However with over 80KM+ of trails riding over a single day, a descent level of fitness is a must to make your time far more enjoyable. To compete in Les Passportes du Soleil 2025 You'll want a  capable enduro bike, ideally with 150mm+ suspension front and rear, dropper post and downhill tyres as a minimum. E-mtb are also able to enter the event.

Harley days wont be back in Morzine for summer 2025, but expect to have this awesome Harley event back in Summer 2026!

Tour De France Morzine 2025
The Tour de France Femmes is heading back to the mountains, and Morzine will play a central role in one of the most exciting race conclusions yet. On August 3rd, 2025, the grand finale will unfold with a grueling stage that climbs from Samoëns over the Col de Joux Plane, descends into Morzine, and continues over the Col du Corbier before finishing in Châtel. This is the final stage of the race, promising high drama and unforgettable moments as the world’s best female cyclists battle it out for ultimate glory in the Alps.

Mont Blanc Rallye
5th - 7th September 2024
‍The Mont Blanc Rally 2024 brings a huge amount of beautiful classic and modern rally cars screaming around every hairpin bend in the vicinity. The town centre becomes a petrol heads dream with thousands of beautiful cars on display from classic BMW's and Porches to modern high spec rally cars. Take a walk through town to see all the cars and team mechanics in action, fixing bumpers and wheels from those pushing the limits. Multiple stages take place around Morzine each day so there's plenty of opportunity to catch the action, a few local favourites have to be the hair pins of Le Joux Plane, or the hill climb up le Joux Verte past Montriond lake and up towards Avoriaz.

Spartan Race Morzine 2025
4th - 6th July 2025
The Spartan race returns to Morzine once again from 4th -6th July 2025. Offering the following race formats:

‍SPRINT (5KM) //  SUPER (13KM) // BEAST (21KM)  // ULTRA (50KM) //  KIDS RACE

‍Morzine's mountainous stage provides one of the toughest races on the European circuit, with epic amounts of climbing over tough mountainous terrain, wading through icy mountain streams and rivers and even climbing out of the freezing cold Nyon Waterfalls!  Alongside these natural features, competitors cover huge distances  of man-made obstacles, electrocutions and other borderline torture devices! This stage of the Spartan race is renowned as one of the toughest in the World and is not for the faint hearted.
