In our humble opinion, Morzine is one of the best places you could possibly go for a winter ski or snowboard holiday. Easily accessible from Geneva Airport, a quick and hassle-free airport transfer, incredible skiing in one of the worlds largest ski areas and a vibrant lively town. There really aren't too many other winter ski destinations that can offer all this.

We are well known for being head over heels in love with Morzine during the summer months and the incredible mountain biking it provides us with. However, Morzine is truely one of a just a few resorts in the World that delivers all year round. The sheer scale and variety of the Portes du Soleil ski area is mindboggling and there's something for skiers and boarders of all abilities and no matter the conditions.

As well as offering unparalleled easy access to the slopes of Morzine, Les Gets & Avoriaz, Morzine is the beating heart of the Portes du Soleil region offering everything you need for the perfect winter holiday. There are an abundance of ski hire shops, lively bars and delicious restaurants. Throughout the winter season the town is full of life, people telling tales of an epic day on the slopes over a quiet beer in one bar and others dancing on tables in their salopettes in another. The local community lives for the mountains and the fun that can be had in them so you’ll be surrounded by good hearted, like minded people.

Getting to Morzine is as easy and convenient as it gets. Located just over an 1.5hours drive  from Geneva International Airport, when flying from London travel time will be well under 4 hours. If you're driving, Morzine is well connected with the French toll road system and around 8 hours drive from Calais if you’re coming from the UK.

There's so much more to Morzine than just the skiing and snowboarding! This lovely little alpine town  is lively and vibrant with a plethora of bars, restaurants and shops. Morzine is different from most alpine resort towns as it has a large year round community and its not just the peak winter season where there is life in the town.

Morzine has everything you'll need during your stay, from groceries, to gifts, fancy restaurants to fast food joints, pubs to nightclubs. There are two well stocked supermarkets in the town centre making self catered holidays in Morzine a breeze. Almost every street in the town centre has at least one ski shop so keeping your equipment tight and looking fly on the slopes should never be a problem.

Treat yourself whilst on holiday and sample Morzine's amazing range of restaurants, from the mountains of cheese in traditional French dining to Japanese noodle bars and everything in between, you'll be spoilt for choice in Morzine. Bars are also plentiful in Morzine and there are some wonderful places to enjoy an apres beer or a few late night beverages whilst sharing a yarn with your friends and family.
